Founded in 1955, SHANI began as a London-based manufacturer of skirts and blouses, producing garments through subcontractors for independent retailers.
A major milestone came in 1971, when the company opened its first factory in Stainforth, near Doncaster. Additional manufacturing facilities followed, creating a production network known for flexibility, efficiency, and rigorous quality control.
By the late 1980s, SHANI was producing more than two million garments annually, combining its own manufacturing capabilities with a carefully managed network of specialist subcontractors.
The 1990s brought further expansion through the acquisition of the established Lampert and Admyra coat and jacket brands, extending SHANI's reach across the UK, Europe, and Asia. Through decades of investment in design, manufacturing, logistics, and customer relationships, Shani has grown into a respected British fashion business.
Today SHANI remains one of the UK's leading fashion suppliers specialising in outerwear and tailoring.
SHANI combines decades of expertise with a commitment to innovation, quality and exceptional customer service.
